productronica and ZVEI extend cooperation in the area of innovative electronics production

This Highlight Day, which is being organized jointly by the Association, exhibitors and Messe München, will feature talks and discussions during which the value-added areas and market potential of suppliers of innovative electronics production services will be described. This exhibition area will also have a prominent position and will be shown in the best possible light.



The ZVEI PCB and Electronic Systems Association will become even more closely involved in productronica 2011. “The worldwide market for electronics production grew strongly again in 2010, and we anticipate that this trend will also continue in 2011. The order situation in the area of innovative electronics production has seldom been so good as it now is“, said Christoph Stoppok, Managing Director of the ZVEI PCB and Electronic Systems Association, and added: “Supply bottlenecks must be averted through intelligent organization and management systems, as well as flexible staff management, i.e. without any time or quality losses.”



Talks and discussions on the Highlight Day will illuminate the range of services, the value-added areas and potential of the EMS industry.

“We are delighted that productronica 2011 will take account of the increasing importance of the market and will offer a suitable platform for suppliers and their customers. Our Association and its members will gladly support the EMS Highlight Day with our technical know-how and corresponding publicity“, said Christoph Stoppok.



The current key topics of the EMS Highlight Day will include, for example, New Product Introduction (NPI), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Long-term Storage of Modules and Systems, and Traceability. Exhibitors at productronica will also present potential solutions and examples of best practice.
