CyberOptics Unveils MX500 - Industry’s First Modular AOI Solution at NEPCON South China 2010

MX500™ - SMT Industry’s FIRST FULLY MODULARIZED AOI system provides a high degree of scalability and flexibility for production line expansion using an innovative multi-lane approach. Embracing modularity in its design, the MX500™ offers a horizontal-stackable conveyor system with a primary master inspection lane that can be coupled with additional lanes to support dual-lane, triple-lane and full-fledged quad-lane configurations.

CyberOptics’ core inspection sensor design - Strobed Inspection Module (SIM) and inspection engine (SAM) is at the heart of MX500™, delivering the highest-speed and also the most flexible inspection solution for advanced automated inspection of solder and lead defects, presence and position, correct part, and polarity for inspection down to 01005 components.
