The device offers capacitances from 180 µF to 10,000 µF, and capacitance tolerances of ± 20 % standard at 120 Hz and + 25 °C, with tolerances of ± 10 % available. By providing designers with a new high standard for capacitance in a single device, the new capacitor enables reduction of capacitor or component count, lowers the amount of board space required, and simplifies the overall manufacturing and assembly process.
