Thick Film Resistor Features Low Resistance Down to 10 mOhms and Low TCR Down to +/-100ppm/K
Vishay Intertechnology has announced the release of a new thick film resistor that combines an extremely low resistance with tight tolerances and low TCR for current-sensing applications. To provide high stability for current sensing and shunt applications in dc-to-dc converters, power supplies, motor circuits, computers, and cell phones, Vishay's CRCW....-EL thick film power resistor offers an extremely low resistance range from 10mΩ to 100mΩ, with tight tolerances of ±1% and ±5%.
The The CRCW....-EL features a special metal glaze on high-quality ceramic with a protective overglaze. The RoHS-compliant resistor offers lead (Pb)-free solder contacts on a nickel barrier layer, with pure tin plating providing compatibility with both lead (Pb)-free and lead-containing soldering processes.
Samples and production quantities of the new thick film power resistor are available now, with lead times of six to eight weeks for larger orders.
