PPI announces expanded variable capacitors

Also known as a Trimmer Capacitor, these are designed for fine adjustments or calibration in RF Circuits providing the ability to vary capacitance, allowing precise tuning and optimisation of electronic circuits in LC filters, radio transmitters and receivers, quartz oscillators, low noise amplifiers, and NMR coil systems.

The Air Tubular trimmers have the highest adjustment precision and Q-Factor for the best electric performance; the Sapphire trimmers are the smallest in size with high thermal and mechanical stability with Q-Factors of 3000; the PTFE trimmers have a high working voltage of up to 2,500 volt and capacitors of up to 28pF; the largest trimmers, the Air Plates, have high adjustment accuracy and mechanical stability at extreme conditions. The newest series of our trimmers is the Zirconia trimmers. Similar to the Sapphire trimmers, the Zirconia provide a 2.5 times higher maximum capacity.
