CamdenBoss has introduced a new range of powerfuses for protecting semiconductors, motors and general power conductor applications. The new CamdenBoss Powerfuse range includes aR semiconductor fuses in 8.5 x 31.5mm and 10 x 38mm sizes, aM motor circuit protection fuses in 8.5 x 31.5mm sizes and gG general fuses in 8.5 x 31.5mm and 10 x 38mm sizes.

The aR series fuses offer fast breaking protection for semiconductor circuits with 400V and 500V ratings available as standard (8.5 x 31.5mm and 10 x 38mm sizes respectively). In addition, the CF10xxaR series is VDE and UL approved and can also be supplied in 690 and 1000V ratings to special order. Breaking capacities are 20KA for CF0840aR 400V, 120KA for CF1050aR 500V and 80KA for CF1050aR 690V. Twenty-three fuses with current ratings from 500mA up to 25A are available in the CF0840aR series while 24 fuses with ratings from 250mA up to 15A are available in the CF1050aR series.

CamdenBoss’s new aM series provides fast breaking protection for motor circuits. Rated for 400V operation, the aM series is available in six sizes offering 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10A current ratings.

The gG range of general powerfuses offers 400V and 500V ratings from 8.51 x 31.5mm and 10 x 38mm sizes respectively. Ideal for general power conductor protection, the gG range offers current ratings from 500mA up to 25A for both ranges and 32A at 400V for 10 x 38mm size. Breaking capacities are 20KA for CF0840gG (400V) range and 120KA for CF1050gG (500V) range.

All fuses in the CamdenBoss Powerfuse range conform with IEC 60269 standards and are RoHS compliant.
