Cost effective and efficient linear LED lights

Marl International is reducing the total cost of ownership of effect lighting system with the introduction of very cost-effective and efficient solid state colour LED linear lights.



Commenting, Adrian Rawlinson, Managing Director of Marl International, said, “Linear LED lighting strips are growing in popularity as a way of delivering creative effects in retail, office and other environments. They are energy efficient and last so long that they are essentially maintenance free. The Colorbeam range is particularly attractive as these are high quality products that cost something like 20-30% less than comparable alternatives.”



Marl International is now offering a range of Colorbeam linear lighting solutions. These include the Moon Linear 18 and 36, a strip of 18 and 36 RGB LEDs drawing just 21W and 42W respectively. The Moon Linear 18H can be linked in an array of up to 30 units, and features a built-in mains power supply for ease of installation. The new Moon Linear 18L offers the same colour washing performance as the 18H with a significantly lower cost of ownership. The 18L is IP65 rated and has a wide operating temperature range, and is therefore suitable for outdoor applications.



The most powerful linear lighting solution from Colorbeam offered by Marl is the Coloray Line 48II. Featuring 48 high power LEDs arranged in clusters, the unit features sophisticated on-board controls giving designers a powerful creative platform without additional DMX consoles.



For spot lighting applications, Marl is offering the Colorbeam MD-9, which delivers nearly three times the colour washing performance of previous products but is only marginally bigger. It offers outstanding performance for track, rail and pendant based lighting.
