In response to increasing demand for off-the-shelf optics optimised for Short Wavelength Infrared performance - Resolve Optics Ltd has designed two new fixed focus lenses (25mm and 50 mm) specifically for the 0.9 to 1.7 um SWIR waveband.

In Surveillance, Military and Machine Vision applications in particular - SWIR cameras have become the sensors of choice for these markets. However there are very few true SWIR lenses available. Most of the lenses available for the SWIR bandwidth are actually lenses that are designed for the visible but have AR coating for 0.9 to 1.7 um. This was acceptable in the past as the resolution of the sensors was so poor that the short comings of these lens such as poor resolution and poor colour correction were not noticeable.

Through careful design and selection of glass types, matched with AR coatings - Resolve Optics new Model 342 Series SWIR lenses deliver unmatched resolution and colour correction ensuring that you get the best possible image from your camera or sensor.

Drawing upon a design team widely acknowleged as one of the best in the industry - Resolve Optics Ltd has earned a reputation for developing innovative, high performance SWIR lenses for customers seeking to source top performance components for their camera or imaging system. Operating from its ISO9001-2008 approved facility in Chesham, UK - Resolve Optics Ltd. has developed the proven and rare capability to produce high performance, mounted lens systems with the look, feel and quality equivalent to the best professional photographic and broadcast TV lenses.
