The Case for Modularity in Test Systems from NPI to Mass Production Test
Read more
When it comes to designing and manufacturing automated functional test systems, today’s engineers find that modularity is key. By using modular hardware, organizations can more effectively manage test equipment from new product introduction (NPI) through to mass/high-volume production. This paper outlines how understanding key issues at every phase of the product lifecycle; organizations can make decisions that result in flexible, reliable, scalable test systems.

Whitepaper Download from onsemi: Solution for Topology Discovery with 10BASE-T1S
Read more
onsemi has recently released its first Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) device, the NCN26010, a 10BASE-T1S MAC-PHY transceiver. The NCN26010 offers a 10 Mbps data bandwidth over a single pair cable (i.e., 2 wires compared to 4-8 wires of a Cat-5 cable used in classic Ethernet). The NCN26010 can work in a multidrop (point-to-multipoint) topology, as defined by the 802.3cg standards.  To continue reading and learn more download a copy of the detailed whitepaper.

TPSF12C3-Q1 Automotive common-mode active EMI filter for three-phase systems
Read more
The TPSF12C3-Q1 is an active filter IC designed to reduce common-mode (CM) electromagnetic interference (EMI) in three-phase AC power systems. The active EMI filter (AEF) configured with voltage sense and current inject (VSCI) uses a capacitive multiplier circuit to emulate the Y-capacitors in a conventional passive filter design. The device senses the high-frequency noise on each power line using a set of sense capacitors and injects noise-canceling currents back into the power lines using an injection capacitor. The effective active capacitance is set by the circuit gain and the injection capacitance.
