The TPS54360B is a 60-V, 3.5-A, step-down regulator with an integrated high side MOSFET. Current mode control provides simple external compensation and flexible component selection. A low ripple pulse skip mode reduces the no-load supply current to 146 µA. Shutdown supply current is reduced to 2 µA when the enable pin is pulled low. |

Catch up on our online seminar on industrial grade DC/DC converter IC BD9G500EFJ from ROHM Semiconductor which has been designed for high voltage applications. More and more industrial applications require DC/DC converters with wide input voltage range because of increased supply voltages of devices in industrial applications. For example, battery-supplied application requires battery management systems and have higher that other industrial applications present input supply voltages. Therefore, a new trend of industrial DC/DC converter ICs with a wide input voltage range, can withstand high transient voltages. |

Quiescent current, or IQ for short, is a critical power trend that impacts a growing number of battery-powered end equipments. IQ, or the amount of current when your IC is in a no-load or non-switching state, can come with tradeoff decisions. Luckily, power designers can rest assured that meeting current requirements can be accomplished while improving transient times or reducing overall form factor. |
