42-V synchronous buck DC/DC controller with ultra-low IQ & integrated active EMI filter
Read more
The LM25149 is a 42-V synchronous buck DC/DC controller for high-current single-output applications. Refer to the Errata. The device uses peak current-mode control architecture for easy loop compensation, fast transient response, and excellent load and line regulation. The LM25149 can be set up in interleaved mode (paralleled output) with accurate current sharing for high-current applications. The LM25149 can operate at input voltages as low as 3.5 V, at nearly 100% duty cycle if needed.

Why should I replace discrete gate drivers with low-side driver ICs in automotive PTC modules?
In hybrid electric vehicles/electric vehicles (HEV/EV), the engine is not used to run the heating and cooling system like it is done in the internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. To replace this function, two key systems are being used: a BLDC motor to rotate the air conditioner compressor and a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heater to heat the coolant.

Infineon and Reality AI teach ADAS cars how to hear
Read more
Today's advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are based on cameras, radar or lidar. As a result, their target objects need to be within the line of sight to be recognised by the system. This, however, turns into a weakness when it comes to emergency vehicles – they can be heard much earlier than they can be seen and thus are invisible to ADAS for a longer time.
