| The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed the analog, in-person lives we were living last year into today's much more digitally mediated experiences. National lockdowns have forced work, education, exercise, entertainment, shopping, healthcare, and social interactions online. What were everyday rituals such as 'going to work' and 'eating out with the family' now seem like an anomaly. I'm reminded of this every time I compare the way I hosted gatherings before the pandemic to the virtual or outdoors meetings we have today.
