WE United: fostering leadership with civility, ethics, and humanity. In an era where civility, ethics, and humanity are more than just values – they're imperatives for progressive leadership – Women in Electronics (WE), also known as WE United, stands at the forefront of ushering a transformative era in the electronics industry and its adjacent sectors.

As WE continues to champion the growth and development of high potential talent, they invite you to join in their mission to drive leadership with a deeper sense of purpose and inclusivity.

Founded in 2017 by Jackie Mattox (President & CEO), Monica Highfill (Founding Director), and Amy Keller (Founding Director), WE has been an unwavering advocate for fostering their three programme pillars of leadership, mentorship, and community. Their efforts are geared toward preparing the next generation of leaders to excel in an environment where innovation meets integrity. Through their foundational pillars and array of developmental programs, WE is more than just a network; it’s a movement towards making value-based leadership the norm.

WE United 2024: Mission Possible

This year's Summit, taking place in Newport Beach, California (September 9-11, 2024), offers a curated, comprehensive two-day programme designed to delve into professional and personal growth and promises to be an enriching convergence of industry veterans, upcoming leaders, and allies. Explore best practices in systemic change while attending sessions on topics, such as:

  • Confidence building
  • Driving positive results through change
  • Effective allyship
  • Personal branding
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Resiliency
  • Best practices for talent retention
  • Owning your career path
  • Executive economic outlook
  • Industry collaboration

Network with seasoned leaders, gain industry insights, and participate in thought-provoking discussions. Life balance sessions will be offered, addressing health and wellbeing, all delivered within the framework of WE's core values – honour, authenticity, courage, and commitment.

Inclusion at the forefront: Ladies in Leadership and WE United

As WE paves the way for systemic change, they emphasise the importance of unity and collaborative efforts. The Summit serves not only as a platform to address the specific needs of women in leadership, offering a ‘Ladies in Leadership’ day of development, but extends its reach to include male stakeholders, fostering an environment where every participant is an invaluable ally in leading change. The Summit unfolds with targeted development sessions, culminating in the ‘WE United’ day, a testament to their commitment to inclusive leadership.

A community united

"We are incredibly proud of our community," says Jackie Mattox, President & CEO. "Together, we're filling the industry talent pipeline and building a benchmark for leadership succession. The technology sector, vast yet intimate, thrives on the dedication and innovation of its people. Our collective endeavour at the Summit is to ensure we build a bridge of unity and collaboration between members and stakeholders.”
