Panellists announced for electronica Women in Tech forum

Electronic Specifier has partnered with Women in Electronics to launch a dedicated Women in Tech forum at electronica 2024.

The Women in Tech forum will kick off with a keynote from Jackie Mattox, WE Founder & Chief Executive Officer addressing systemic change and the mission for WE United globally. Immediately following, Paige West, Managing Editor, Electronic Specifier will lead a panel of senior leaders in an authentic discussion regarding leadership best practices for inclusion in the workplace.

The panellists include:

Beatriz Soriano, Sales Director, Texas Instruments

With over 15 years of international experience in the semiconductor industry, Beatriz is a passionate and driven sales leader with a strong expertise in analog and embedded products. She is currently the Sales Area Director for West, South, and Eastern Europe at Texas Instruments, a global leader in semiconductors. The mission is to contribute to customers’ success by providing high-quality solutions and support.

In her current role, Beatriz leads a diverse and talented team of sales and applications engineers, covering multiple markets and regions. She is a life-long learner and committed to help others grow.

Dorothea Werber, Vice President, High Voltage Development Department at the Automotive Division, Infineon Technologies

Dorothea is responsible for developing products and technologies for the electrification of cars. Dorothea has grown significantly the organisation in line with the market growth of e-mobility in the last years and released several new market leading products and technologies. Her leadership style is based on the ability to bring to life technical visions fitting to the market demands. In her private life, Dorothea is a very happy mother of a small child and surprised by the fact that professional and private stress compensate each other.

Dorothea started her career as research assistant on SiC power devices at the Technical University Munich. In the year 2010 she joined Infineon as a chip development engineer. She managed several development projects for industrial IGBT and diode chips, as well as frame-based power modules. Later on, she led the Intelligent Power Module product and package development. Currently, she is leading the technology and product development for Automotive High Voltage. She holds a Dr.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering as well as a diploma in business.

Marie-Pierre Ducharme, Vice President of Supplier Marketing and Business Development, EMEA, Mouser Electronics

Marie-Pierre Ducharme leads Mouser’s EMEA Supplier Marketing Team to identify business opportunities within Mouser’s product offerings. She drives regional and corporate marketing and development efforts, from strategy, market share positioning, competitive analysis, financial and operative analysis leading to successful execution of strategy and goals. She also manages the EMEA Technical Content team.

Ducharme, who joined Mouser in 2013, is at the forefront of establishing and developing relationships with many of Mouser’s key manufacturing partners. Furthermore, she plays an active role in developing innovative and engaging go-to-market strategies with leading manufacturers. These activities have been instrumental in securing strong growth for the EMEA region over the past decade.

A French-Canadian native, Ducharme has extensive project management and business development experience on an international scale. Prior to joining Mouser, she worked for semiconductor powerhouse Texas Instruments, where she held various roles focused on business development and key account management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Journalism. In addition, she holds two master’s degrees, one in International Relations and another in European Business.

She has also been named Manager of the Year for three consecutive years by an industry organisation.

Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors in the mountains, traveling with her family and spending time with her two children.

Susanne Ertl, Vice President Sales Distribution Europe, TDK

Susanne ‘Susi’ Ertl is an experienced Vice President with a strong background in customer and supplier-facing roles in the electronics industry.

She specialises in strategic planning, financial management, and operational excellence with a strong focus on innovation and efficiency to drive growth and improve sales strategies.

Susi is known for her collaborative leadership style based on humility and continuous learning.

Her ability to build strong relationships with key partners and teams to achieve shared goals has been instrumental in developing go-to-market strategies that increase market share and enhance customer satisfaction.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.
