Chartered Institute of Public Relations STEM Group appoints new chair
The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) Group of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), the world’s only Royal Chartered professional body for public relations practitioners, has appointed Neil Fullbrook, MCIPR, as its chair.
The group fosters collaboration between PR professionals and technical industries, driving best practices in STEM-related communications. Fullbrook, a member of the CIPR since 2023 is Director of Cadence Industrial & Technical Communications, co-founded in 2001. He is deeply committed to advancing innovation and excellence in STEM-focused public relations.

After a few years of minimal activity post COVID19 the group is ready to expand its horizons with a number of exciting events and campaigns expected for 2025. The forum this group provides is becoming more and more important as the backdrop against which we operate as PR professionals continues to evolve.”
The Group’s first campaign, which is to be launched in January 2025, looks at the Language of STEM in recruitment practices.
CIPR members, non-members, PR professionals, educators, journalists, or anyone involved in the betterment of STEM are invited to engage with Fullbrook and the group to exchange ideas, amplify messaging and ensure best practices.
Fullbrook will soon be announcing an exciting suite of events, debates and campaigns that will promote communications in STEM and bridge gaps between technical industries and the PR industry.
