Seica President Antonio Grassino explains: “We have been growing for years, not only in terms of turnover and number of employees, but also in the solutions and technologies we are able to offer to our customers. We were founded in 1986 and since 1990 we have been providing test solutions to electronic boards manufacturers, bringing test innovations to multiple industries. One of the latest examples is in the Electric Vehicle sector, developing new solutions and implementing projects in partnership with a number of global leaders of the industry. During the 2023 edition of the productronica exhibition in Germany we received the GLOBAL Technology Award, a distinguished award for innovation for our Pilot BT system, a cutting-edge solution for EV battery testing. Innovation has always been the core of our strategy, which has often made us pioneers in technologies and trends, something which has been rewarded by the market”.
“Innovation, originality and consistent investments in research have always been fundamental for Seica, and the new Campus represents exactly this business philosophy that has led us to grow in numbers, but also to pave new growth paths, by striving to become more than just a supplier to our customers, with whom we often become strategic and global partners. We follow our customers from their product design phase, through to test engineering and installation of the solution in their manufacturing plant, This new area will allow us to do this even more effectively”, added Barbara Duvall (pictured), General Manager of Seica.
Seica is a pioneer in delivering a core software and hardware platform, key to the scalability of the complete solutions, maximizing the customers’ investment.
Seica says it was also the first European company to create a test solution using flying probing technology and, among many other activities, the first ones to apply the laser technology to the selective soldering process of electronic boards.
Through the expertise of Canavisia, the Seica Group also addresses the needs of the “smart factory”, a wider industrial market dealing with products and applications for gathering and digitalization of data coming from machines, factories, buildings and cities, with the goal of monitoring energy consumption, and enabling the continuous control of machines and production lines, also remotely.
