New video for PILOT VX
Seica has recently launched a new video that highlights the features of the PILOT VX, which has become a benchmark for speed and efficiency in flying probe testing.
Thanks to its advanced technology and precision engineering, the PILOT VX sets new standards in efficiency and accuracy, offering speed and reliability that enhance the testing process for electronic components.
Its mechanical design and motion controllers reduce test times by up to 50%, while its 12 multifunctional test heads allow for simultaneous double-sided probing of up to 44 points. The VIVA software has been optimised for efficiency, enabling the parallel execution of different test types. Furthermore, intelligent analysis capabilities and algorithms, rooted in artificial intelligence, dynamically optimise the test sequence in real-time without compromising coverage.
Additionally, the PILOT VX introduces the FlyPod option, which enhances testing flexibility by equipping a single mobile probe with up to 14 channels. This feature facilitates access to boundary scan circuits and incorporates onboard programming capabilities, all without the need for external fixed cables. The platform is also designed to test flex circuits and perform both electrical and optical tests on LEDs. Another innovative feature is the ability to create pressure/force topology maps of the device under test with the FlyStrain option, a technique traditionally reserved for fixture-based testing systems but now adapted for the delicate requirements of testing ceramics, wafers, and avionics and satellite boards with the flying prober.
