Mouser, SemiQ agree global distribution deal
Mouser Electronics has sealed a global distribution agreement with SemiQ, a company which grows its own SiC epitaxial.
It is also building the most reliable, redundant supply chain with multiple substrate suppliers, multiple epitaxial suppliers, two wafer fabrication facilities, and multiple packaging and testing facilities.
Mouser now stocks a variety of SemiQ's SiC Schottky diode and MOSFET products, all of which operate with zero switching loss to greatly increase efficiency and reduce heat dissipation, which allows engineers to use smaller heatsinks.
SemiQ SiC Schottky diode modules offer enhanced performance with robust SiC chipsets and minimised parasitic package elements.
The rugged modules are ideal for applications such as power supplies for DC power equipment, rectifiers for induction heating, and welding equipment.
A range of SiC MOSFET modules provide low on-state resistance at high temperatures plus excellent switching performance, simplifying thermal design in power electronic systems. The modules are ideal for applications in solar inverters, power supplies, motor drives, and charging stations.
SiC Schottky discrete diodes are easy to parallel with fast, temperature-independent switching. The devices are designed for solar inverters, power supplies, motor drives, and charging stations applications.
SemiQ is a partially employee-owned company that believes continued technological innovation of silicon carbide (SiC) products is the foundation for power electronics in energy industries of the future.
