Mouser extends Semtech deal to include Sierra Wireless
Mouser Electronics has expanded its global distribution agreement with Semtech to include wireless products from Sierra Wireless which it acquired in 2023.
Through the Sierra Wireless acquisition, Semtech gained an almost 30-year history of innovation in the wireless space delivering innovative products and solutions for industrial machine-to-machine (M2M), public safety, mobile computing, and advanced air interface applications.
Latest Semtech (Sierra Wireless) wireless products stocked by Mouser include the EM embedded modules used in industrial and IoT applications.
These modules deliver high-speed connectivity, bandwidth, and network performance for upgrades to emerging network technologies, global access to high-speed networks, including 5G and LTE bands worldwide, and support NAM, EMEA, and APAC carriers.
They are also available in region-specific and function-specific variants.
Semtech (Sierra Wireless) RC76x industrial embedded cellular modules are small, scalable solutions in a compact and easy-to-integrate form factor that are entirely interchangeable among 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies, making them ideal for industrial machine-to-machine (M2M) solution designs.
The HL7810 and HL7812 scalable LPWA industrial IoT modules are designed to enable low power devices. They offer very low current consumption while in a hibernate state supporting eDRX and PSM modes.
These small, secure scalable solutions feature a compact and easy-to-integrate form factor that is also interchangeable with 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies. The HL7810 and HL7812 modules support a variety of interfaces, such as UART, ADC, and GPIOs.
For solutions that require global coverage, both modules will support non-terrestrial networks (NTN) and the HL7812 supports 2G fall back.
Mouser also stocks the Semtech (Sierra Wireless) WP76x industrial cellular modules. These modules offer low-power cellular voice and data LTE connectivity in a single, fully integrated solution.
Fully certified for radio regulatory, cellular and network carrier purposes, these modules feature an application processor running the Legato application framework, a rich set of edge and cloud APIs, and an optional GNSS receiver. The modules are suitable for devices built for transportation, telematics, public safety and industrial IoT.
