Mouser adds Hirschmann to global line card

The Hirschmann SPIDER III Standard and Premium line switches are designed to transfer large amounts of data in industrial applications.

The standard switches are suitable for both harsh environments and applications in which switch management is unnecessary. This makes them an ideal choice for the OEM machine manufacturing industry, where reliability and cost-effectiveness are the driving decision-makers.

The SPIDER III Premium line expands on the benefits of the Standard line offerings by adding configurable switch functionality typically only found in managed switches.

Premium switches also meet a broader range of market-specific certifications, standards and approvals, including those for use in process industries, transportation, and marine applications.

Hirschmann LEMUR Lite Managed Switches provide essential managed switching features and advanced data rates in a cost-optimized design. The LEMUR Switches offer up to eleven ports, PoE/PoE+ options, IP30 protection, and an extended temperature range of -40°C to +60°C to meet many industrial application requirements.

The BOBCAT next-generation compact managed switches enable real-time communication using time-sensitive networking (TSN) on all ports.

These compact managed switches allow for expanded bandwidth capabilities with adjustable tri-speed fibre SFP slots (1 Gigabit to 2.5 Gigabit) without modification to the appliance. The BOBCAT switches offer enhanced flexibility and interoperability for simple maintenance, future-proof operation, and downward compatibility with existing infrastructure.

All Hirschmann networking products have a wide array of industry specific certifications from basic UL, Class 1 Div 2, Naval certification, IEC 61850, Rail and Transportation.

For security all of their products are Independently certified according to the international security standard IEC 62443-4-1 Secure Development Lifecycle with select devices, such as the BOBCAT, certified to a higher degree within the IEC 62443 standard.
