Memory company to rebrand as RAMXEED

RAMXEED [rǽmsiːd] represents a company that continues to co-create and grow by pursuing infinite possibilities based on “RAM” memory technology. “XEED” incorporates the meanings of “Succeed” and “Exceed,” while “X” signifies infinite possibilities and co-creation.

The space within the letter “R” and double “E” emphasizes the infinite possibilities and the black-magenta “X” represents the way we co-create. The company says it chose magenta as its symbol colour, the purest colour that is one of the primary colours, to demonstrate its determination to aim for the “Niche-Top” with the core of its unique technology.

The company, which supplies Ferroelectric RAM (FeRAM) and Resistive RAM (ReRAM) semiconductor memory products and services, will update its postal address and website URL prior to the name change. The postal address and phone numbers remain the same.

“Our Memory, Your Future” will be the brand slogan, globally and straightforwardly representing RAMXEED’s purpose of “Realizing a future full of dreams with memory technology.” At RAMXEED, we fulfill everyone’s “future full of dreams” with the memory technology we’ve developed over the years.

FeRAM is used in a wide range of applications, such as IC cards, RFID tags, power meters, and industrial machinery and they are also best suited for wearable devices and sensor networks.

ReRAM requires less power when reading data and is ideal for small wearable devices. The company is also developing non-volatile memory (NRAM) using carbon nanotube as the material.
