Newton Labs and its NDT partner Sonic Systems have provided this underwater Nuclear Robotic Tank Inspection for more than a decade.
This service is the most advanced robotic underwater tank inspection and robotic tank repair service currently available in the nuclear industry and with its Inspector Robot has performed more robotic tank inspections than any other group. This service is now available for both water and diesel tanks.
Tank Inspections can be performed either off-outage or during an outage.
Performed under NQA-1 Newton and Sonic can provide underwater:
- Tank Cleaning
- NDT Phased Array Inspection
- Laser Scanning to produce CAD models
- Visual Inspection to VT-1
- Underwater Robotic Vacuum Box Weld Inspection – Both plate welds and corner welds
