HellermannTyton Hela-Vis Visor protects employees
Cable management specialist, HellermannTyton has launched a new face visor called Hela-Vis Visor, to help tackle the spread of coronavirus and ensure employees are safe when returning to work. Many businesses and industries are adapting to the ‘new normal’ caused by the coronavirus, which includes wearing PPE to keep staff and customers safe. Face protection is vital for those who are coming in close contact with others.
With demand for face visors high, HellermannTyton recognised it had the manufacturing capabilities to supply a solution. The Hela-Vis Visor is designed with safety and comfort in mind whilst guaranteeing clear vision.
Made from high quality material, this face visor is reusable and made with minimal components to boast a simple yet effective design. It also features a foam insert across the forehead, providing comfort for those required to wear this visor for a long period of time.
Well suited for public establishments, factories and warehouses, the Hela-Vis Visor has a polycarbonate screen covering the whole face to prevent transition of respiratory germs spreading to others.
HellermannTyton knows safety is a priority in the workplace, which is why this new product is EN166 tested and approved to ensure it provides sufficient protection for the user. In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425, all PPE must be tested and marked to prove that it can meet the relevant protective standards.
John Brodie, UK Product Manager for Fastenings & Fixings at HellermannTyton, said: “Designed with comfort and safety, we hope this new face visor will provide our customers with peace of mind knowing they are protected when in the workplace. Complying to the EN166 standard was crucial to provide our customers with the highest standard of PPE.”
