Arduino's biggest ever celebration: Arduino week
A week long event full of talks, announcements and presentations to give space to friends, partners and all the entire Arduino community. It's a mix of official activities organised by Arduino and community events around the globe.
A whole week of online tasks, interviews, announcements, product launches and presentations of projects by community members, selected to bring people together, share their experiences and learn more about the open-source platform.
The program, organised by the Arduino staff, is accompanied by events spread all over the world. The community of Arduino enthusiasts - makers, engineers, designers, developers, educators, students - is invited to host their own local event. This call is open for those who want to organise their own event (physical or online) celebrating Arduino, to be recognised as an Official Arduino Event and be marked with a pin on the website map. They'll also receive the special Digital Kit for organisers that includes a range of visual assets to customise their event.
The week will be opened by a keynote speech by Favio Violante, Arduino CEO. Every day of the week, starting on Monday 21st until Saturday 26th March, is dedicated to telling the story of the different people that make up Arduino: makers, community, education, IoT, Pro and more. The main topics are robotics, home automation, wearables, IoT, education, environment/outfoors and interactive arts.
Typically pre pandemic there would be 400+ events taking place across the globe where makers, artists, designers, students could meet up to share their experience on all things Arduino and the open-source platform.
The agenda is being defined and will soon be available on the event website. This will showcase a program of talks and international guests such as makers, journalists, entrepreneurs and artists.
