Efficient-cores (E-cores) provide high core density and exceptional performance per watt, while performance-cores (P-cores) deliver outstanding performance for a wide range of workloads, including AI and HPC.
Intel Xeon 6900 processors feature a new server platform design and provide customers with high performance and memory bandwidth, as well as high throughput, making them ideal for cloud, HPC and AI environments. They feature a higher number of cores, more memory channels and I/O lanes with thermal design points higher than the other series.
The Intel Xeon 6700/6500 processors come in an updated server platform design with high performance and cost- and energy-efficient solutions that are ideal for a variety of data centre environments.
