Farnell now shipping Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W
The new-to-market Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W single board computer is now being shipped by Farnell, further increasing its range of Raspberry Pi products available from stock.
Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is a flexible and economical new member of the Raspberry Pi family. It is built around a Raspberry Pi-designed RP3A0 System-in-Package which integrates the BCM2710A1 die used in the launch variant of Raspberry Pi 3 with 512MB of LPDDR2 SDRAM.
This compact computer is suitable for building embedded Internet of Things (IoT) projects and wireless networking applications and can also be used as a general-purpose computer.
Key specifications include:
- Upgraded design: Built around a Raspberry Pi-designed System-in-Package, Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W integrates the BCM2710A1 die used in Raspberry Pi 3 with 512MB of RAM.
- Functionality: Key features include a 1GHz quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 CPU, VideoCore IV GPU, 512MB LPDDR2 DRAM, micro-USB power, HAT-compatible 40-pin header, composite video and reset pins via solder test points, and a CSI camera connector.
- Connectivity: 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.2 / Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), MicroSD card slot, Mini HDMI and USB 2.0 OTG ports.
The single board computer is accompanied by a range of accessories including a 5VDC Power Supply, an official case, a 1 m HDMI cable, a HDMI adapter, a 10 cm HDMI cable, an OTG adapter and a 1 m USB cable.
