Strengthening cooperation with industry associations

Anthula Parashoudi, Vice-President of the Smart Systems Integration, Mesago Messe Frankfurt, stated: "We are pleased to further expand our successful cooperation with SEMI and Silicon Saxony e. V.. The cooperation with the associations offers us even better opportunities to network on the European and international market. Ultimately, all participants in the Smart Systems Integration event will benefit from these valuable connections.”

The Smart Systems Integration has first cooperated with SEMI in 2018 and will now continue to collaborate with the international association. SEMI consists of companies from all areas of the semiconductor industry and related branches of industry. The association organises events in the field of nano- and microelectronics, such as the European MEMS & Sensors Summit 2018, the European Imaging and Sensors Summit 2018 and the 3D and Systems Summit 2019.

The cooperation with the Saxon industry network for micro- and nanoelectronics, Silicon Saxony e. V., will be extended in the future. The association connects more than 330 manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, universities, research institutes and public institutions in Saxony.

Gitta Haupold, Managing Director and Board Member of Silicon Saxony e. V., added: "The cooperation agreement concluded between SSI and Saxony´s hightech network Silicon Saxony e. V. in Dresden in the run-up to the Smart Systems Integration 2018 was an important and successful milestone. Both partners, the conference participants as well as our network members are now working together even more closely.

We look forward to developing further cooperation and networking potential in the coming years and in this way continuously strengthening the topic of Smart Systems."

The Smart Systems Integration conference with the accompanying exhibition will be held for the 13th time next year. The event will take place at the Hotel Barceló Sants in Barcelona from 10th to 11th April 2019 and promotes the international exchange of innovative smart systems and their manufacturing technologies.
