Steve Singer, VP of worldwide field applications engineering at INSIDE Secure, will be a featured speaker at the 2014 Multicore Developers Conference being held May 7-8 in Santa Clara, California, USA. Mr. Singer will present ‘Meeting new demands for networking security’ on May 8 at 10:00 am.

“New threats, like Heartbleed, are appearing almost daily,” said Mr. Singer. “Silicon and systems need solid protection, without sacrificing performance. A compromise is unacceptable, but also unnecessary with today’s advanced security designs.” Drawing on his real world experiences, Mr. Singer will describe the design approaches available to development teams. He will also examine the high throughput capability of hardware IP Intelligent Packet Engines, as well as the interrelated role of security software.

Mr. Singer is a well-recognized expert in embedded security with design experience encompassing protection for semiconductors, mobile devices, networking equipment and storage. He directs a global team of field application engineers working with the world’s leading semiconductor and electronic equipment companies.

The conference addresses both business and design issues for multicore devices. It includes state-of-the-art technical sessions and panel discussions spanning the gamut of domain-specific and general techniques as well as an exhibit area focused on multicore implementations.
