Space-Comm Expo reveals keynote speakers

Space-Comm Expo has announced that European Space Agency (ESA) Director General Dr Josef Aschbacher and Virgin Galactic Founder Sir Richard Branson will be its keynote speakers, running from 11-12 March in London.

 

Dr Josef Aschbacher and Sir Richard Branson, two of the world’s most influential and inspiring leaders, will join over 5,000 delegates, 200 exhibitors and 150 speakers at Space-Comm Expo, being held for the first time at ExCeL London.

Space-Comm Expo will feature an exciting two-day programme featuring multiple conference theatres, technology demonstrations, panel sessions, symposiums, and 1-2-1 networking opportunities.

Dr Josef Aschbacher will be joining thought leaders from over 50 nations at Space-Comm Expo. As CEO of ESA, he is responsible for the definition, implementation and development of Europe’s infrastructure and activities across launch, satellites, Earth observation, navigation, telecommunications and space science, together with robotic exploration and ESA astronauts on the International Space Station.

Sir Richard Branson will be joining Space-Comm Expo live from Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands via satellite, for an exclusive live interview at the event with world-renowned TV presenter and physicist, Professor Brian Cox.

The programme for this year's event will feature speakers from NASA, ESA, UN, NATO and space agencies from aqcross the world. The agenda will explore the most significant challenges and trends for the industry including spaceports, launch, satellites, in-orbit servicing, cybersecurity, AI, robotics, space debris, and sustainability.
