SolderStar to exhibit latest products at SMART Group seminar
At the SMART Group seminar, which takes place on 6th November 2014 in Scotland, SolderStar will be exhibiting it’s latest products. The seminar, titled 'Wave or selective soldering - that is the question’, will discuss the factors which influence the decision to use selective or wave soldering. Alongside offering advice and information on it’s latest products, SolderStar will discuss how they are helping in electronics production.
Designed for selective soldering analysis, the WaveShuttle Selective is an intelligent pallet. As the pallet moves through the solder wave, titanium sensors incorporated within the on-board measurement system gather data on contact parameters. The pallet, therefore, achieves a higher performance with measurement accuracy and repeatability. A single datalogger solution, which is flexible and can be expanded, is also provided by the pallet.
Mark Stansfield, Managing Director, SolderStar said: “The seminar is the perfect opportunity to meet with those in the electronics industry looking for answers to their soldering needs. We will be exhibiting our latest products, including our latest systems for the analysis of mini-wave and multi-wave selective soldering processes. Our dedicated selective solutions have been in the market for three years now and over that time we have improved and evolved the product and it is now in its 2nd gen of design. It provides the most comprehensive measurement of all key process parameters with a single pass through the machine, and together with our software it is very user-friendly. It is also unique in that it does not rely solely upon thermocouple sensors to measure process information."
"The latest evolution of this product also has the capability to detect flux spray position, allowing a complete process measure to be achieved with one testing run. We are looking forward to introducing our range of products to visitors and we will be on-hand to offer advice and provide recommendations on what products from the SolderStar portfolio would meet an individual customer’s requirements,” adds Stansfield.
