Solder alloy technology seminar taking place in San Jose
Supplier of electronics production equipment, Kurtz Ersa North America, has announced plans to hold a one-day technology seminar on 6th December or 7th December 2017 in San Jose, CA. Presentations will be held each day at Club Auto Sport from 9am-12pm and the hands-on portion will take place both days at the Technica, USA Demo Lab in San Jose from 1-4pm. Ersa and the INTERFLUX Electronics team will present developments in a low melting point solder alloy that improves quality, lowers costs and maximises equipment efficiency.
Ersa recently completed tests with INTERFLUX on the new solder alloy. The tests were run using INTERFLUX’s LMPA-Q alloy with the VERSAFLOW selective solder machine. During the seminar, Ersa representatives will discuss INTERFLUX’s new cost-saving, high-speed, low melting point soldering alloy for reflow, wave and selective soldering.
The new LMPA-Q alloy also is available as a solder paste for reflow soldering. The alloy can be used with existing older equipment as well as with latest high-end soldering machines. It has shown low voiding properties without the use of N2.
Around the world, Ersa’s customers and business partners have access to spacious demonstration, application and training centres outfitted with the most modern equipment. There are seven Ersa Service Centres of this kind in total, all of them with the complete soldering systems product portfolio, as well as the Ersa 'Tools, Rework and Inspection' business line. In all Ersa Service Centres, the company‘s experienced application engineers are ready to demonstrate the Ersa hardware and test it for specific purposes.
