Smart Systems Integration 2017
Taking place 8th-9th March 2017, in Cork, Ireland is the Smart Systems Integration, and the experts, developers and researchers in the field are encouraged and invited in submitting their abstract on the latest developments, applications and trends of innovative smart technologies and materials as well as to their production for the conference in 2017.
Current knowledge transfer at European level
An important international communication platform, Smart Systems Integration, is crucial for research institutes and manufacturers from the field of smart systems integration. It creates additionally the basis for successful research cooperation’s with focus on Europe.
Speakers present themselves to an international audience
Moritz Hubl, University of Applied Science (HTW) Berlin, Germany, held an oral presentation at last year's conference on the topic ‘Energy-autarkic smart sensor insole for telemedical patient monitoring’ and described the positive effects of conference participation:
"The presentation of our development at Smart Systems Integration 2016 was a good opportunity to introduce our joint project to a high number of experts and potential partners. As a result of contacting representatives from science and industry on site, I was invited to further scientific conferences to present my paper. Additionally, we could initiate new collaborations with industrial partners which lead now to a concrete development project."
Diversity of topics convinces
The conference committee, headed by Prof. Dr. Thomas Otto, Fraunhofer Institute of Electronic Nanosystems (ENAS), Chemnitz, Germany, is going to select the best contributions in November 2016, which will be presented during the two-day conference and will be published in the conference proceedings.
