The latest information regarding the future of Network Installation and Maintenance will be presented to engineers by Anritsu in a UK and Ireland roadshow. The UK events will take place in Doncaster and Warwick on January 17 and 19, while Dublin Aviva Stadium will host the Ireland event on January 25.

These events are designed to support engineers with the ever changing network architectures and technologies that are being implemented in the telecom infrastructure environment.

The events take the form of a one-day seminar and are divided into four parts designed to cover the key aspects of the latest technologies and the testing requirements needed to overcome the challenges.

The presentations will cover Future Technologies of telecom network architecture; CPRI and RF over CPRI measurements; OTN & transport network measurements; and RF Interference hunting and Over the Air measurements.

With the ever changing developments in The Cloud, The Internet of Things, Machine to Machine communication, Autonomous vehicles and the advent of 5G the key topics of discussion at these events will include; Mobile Network evolution and the move away from copper, best practices for RF over CPRI measurements, the evolution of OTN test needs and testing of Ethernet links above 100GbE and changes in the RF spectrum that are driving the need for more interference hunting, including practical hints and tips from the field.

The Telecoms Installation and Maintenance Roadshow dates running in the UK and Dublin are part of a series of European events that have been taking place throughout late 2016 and into early 2017.

At each event Anritsu will also demonstrate the latest Test Equipment for Fibre Testing, Line Sweep Testing and PIM Testing, including examples of Anritsu’s new compact Sitemasters and OTDR’s. Anritsu commercial and technical experts will be available for individual discussions on specific testing issues.
