Seminars cover EMC-compliant design
Compliance with the EMC Directive has, in many cases, come to be a critical factor in certifying new electronics products. When EMC considerations are not taken into consideration at the outset in PSU-related positioning and cable routing, EMC issues will almost certainly arise in the final product, leading to costly redesign work and a delayed product launch. RECOM focuses on this important issue in a series of seminars oriented towards real-life applications for electronics design engineers.
The first seminar in the series took place at the Gmunden (Austria) headquarters in late September. Titled Power supply meets EMC know-how, the seminar was rich in information on EMC-compliant design, from component positioning and cable routing to specific guidelines and measurement engineering including real-life solutions to problems.
The success of the event was reflected in reactions from participants: “A great event, lots to take away and apply in my daily work...” and: “The practical examples from the speakers’ own experience were especially important...”
The next seminar will take place from 26th to 27th November 2015. The number of participants will be limited to twenty-five to keep the quality of the seminar at a high level. The attendance fee will be €500 per person, including service. Register here.
