Seminar programme studies test strategies
The requirements for testing and programming boards built in the UK has evolved in the past ten years. Components, board functionality and device programming requirements have all altered the way we need to think about testing and programming today’s PCB assemblies.
JTAG Technologies in collaboration with Everett-Charles Technologies is staging a seminar programme which will highlight some of the new ways of devising test strategies, and accessing UUT and programming devices in the most efficient manner.
The seminar will include an introduction to boundary-scan testing and programming, a guide to mixed signal testing using boundary-scan, device in-system programming techniques and automated test fixture design.
In addition there will be a bench-top fixturing overview, and a look at the integration of test equipment into fixtures, and software for ATE & turnkey options.
The seminar is aimed at electronics professionals involved in design, prototype debug, production programming of logic devices, and PCB assembly testing. Managers and engineers alike will benefit from knowledge of the latest techniques.
The seminar dates are May 11 in Newbury and June 8 in Coventry.
