Selective Soldering training is a success
Kurtz Ersa North America recently held its ERSA Versaflow 3 Selective Soldering Level II Application Training and Maintenance Course at its facility in Plymouth, Wisconsin. The course was a success with students from six different companies in attendance, gaining the knowledge required to properly maintain the Versaflow 3 with minimal to zero defects with the highest throughput possible.
Students received instruction and hands-on experience for process application and programming on the Versaflow 3 selective soldering machine. Training course topics included advanced process understanding, process requirements and limitations, ERSAcad3 offline programming and more.
Joe Clure, Process Engineer, Kurtz Ersa, commented: "We can provide the same equipment and in-depth process know-how here at our ‘Soldering Education Center’ in Plymouth, WI. One of our goals is to teach and optimise the soldering process without the pressures of running production that is completely transferrable back to the customer’s equipment anywhere in the world."
