At VISION 2024 in Stuttgart, Scape Technologies will be showcasing its Ultra and Pro Industrial 3D Stationary Scanner Series, alongside the new robot-mounted 3D SCAPE Mini Scanner.

At the company booth, attendees can witness live demonstrations of its high-performance, cost-efficient 3D vision scanners, as well as latest advancements in robotic CNC tending, bin-picking, and object detection technologies.

Introducing the SCAPE Industrial 3D Scanner Series

With over two decades of expertise in robotic automation, Scape Technologies continues to innovate with its stationary and robot-mounted 3D vision scanners, designed for a range of industrial applications including object recognition, quality inspection, gluing, palletising, bin-picking, and more. Our goal is to make cutting-edge technology accessible, which is why we offer three competitively priced 3D vision scanner series, each improving precision and productivity in industrial settings. Bring your sample parts to our booth, and we will demonstrate these scanners in action.

  • SCAPE Mini Industrial 3D Scanner Series: Compact and lightweight, the SCAPE Mini Scanners are available with either colour or greyscale cameras. They are ideal for high-resolution scanning of small areas and, thanks to their robust design, can be mounted on robots for tasks such as bin-picking, inspection, object detection (pose estimation), precise robot guidance, and weld positioning
  • SCAPE Pro Industrial 3D Scanner Series: This cost-effective stationary scanner series features a colour camera and can handle scanning areas from small to large. It is perfect for applications such as palletising and depalletising, large-area scanning, bin-picking, and object detection (pose estimation)
  • SCAPE Ultra Industrial 3D Scanner Series: Built for medium to large scanning areas, the high-performance SCAPE Ultra Scanners excel in applications requiring high precision, such as bin-picking semi-structured parts, object detection, depth measurement, industrial inspection, and machine guidance

All SCAPE Industrial 3D Scanners are designed to withstand harsh industrial environments, with IP65-rated dust- and waterproof enclosures. They are CE and FCC certified, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Unveiling the SCAPE CoCreator

Scape Technologies is pushing the boundaries of industrial robotics, 3D vision, and AI by making robotic automation more accessible and user-friendly. At VISION 2024, we will be introducing the SCAPE CoCreator, a no-code robot guidance software designed to work seamlessly with the SCAPE Industrial 3D Scanners. This innovative platform allows effortless integration of 3D scanners with any robot brand and other automation equipment, simplifying the automation process.

"The synergy between SCAPE 3D scanners and the SCAPE CoCreator platform will offer unprecedented value to our customers. The SCAPE CoCreator platform not only streamlines the automation process but also opens up new possibilities for innovation through its API, allowing external parties to contribute new functionalities. This platform represents a significant milestone in our mission to make robotic automation accessible to all," said Søren Bøving, CEO of Scape Technologies.

Cost-effective components

In response to the growing challenges faced by European manufacturers, Scape Technologies offers a range of affordable components and equipment for building robot cells. This includes the SCAPE Vision Controller, 3D scanners, and other standardised components used in our SCAPE Robotic Workcells. At VISION 2024, we will also unveil the first standardised SCAPE Robotic CNC Tending Workcell, designed for the automatic loading and unloading of CNC machines.
