Renesas Electronics Europe announced that its UK staff recently moved back into its office in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire, which has undergone significant interior and exterior renovation. The facility has been completely redesigned to be much more ergonomic and modern, and is now equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and meeting spaces to encourage knowledge sharing among employees.

By investing in the business environment, Renesas shows its commitment to its current and future UK employees and to supporting innovation in the UK market.

“Our employees are a key part of Renesas’ success and in the UK office we boast a wealth of knowledge and experience,” says Rosa Twelftree, Human Resources Manager, UK & Southern Europe, Renesas Electronics Europe Limited.

“We believe our newly renovated offices, located in a quiet, leafy business park, will inspire our engineering and other staffs to continue going from strength to strength in their quest for innovation. We also hope it will attract upcoming talent for our future vacancies.”

The UK branch has approximately 170 personnel, of whom about 80% are engineers with an average length of service of more than 10 years. The team had been working in the Bourne End office since 2003, and in line with the company’s standing, the office required updating.

The re-design and refurbishment work have completely transformed the working environment, and it is now equipped to underpin Renesas’ growth plans in the region. Renesas intends to further develop its engineering, marketing and applications communities in the UK from the Bourne End base.

With its “Renesas in the Community” policy, Renesas Electronics Europe is also committed to the areas in which it operates – and the Bourne End office is no exception. The company offers a range of activities for local people and the state-of-the-art offices will enhance these further.
