Registration now open for 2014 Sound & Vibration Conference
Registration is now open for Brüel & Kjær’s 2014 Sound & Vibration Conference, running from Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd May at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg in Chicago, USA.
Taught by practicing industry experts, with many decades of cumulative experience, Brüel & Kjær’s courses feature the latest technology available, making them ideal for engineers working within automotive, appliance, aerospace, telecommunications, audio, computer, environmental noise and consulting industries. Courses include LDS Introduction to Vibration, a three day Course, offering a practical introduction to the subject of vibration testing.
This course explains how to interpret vibration test specifications and apply them to a vibration test system. There is also a two day PULSE System Training course, which aims to teach attendees about setting up, using and modifying PULSE projects, as well as reporting of data and other data export/import. For noise enforcement officers, city planners and consultants, the third day features an Environmental & Community Noise Monitoring course. This is an interactive seminar covering noise metrics and their value for noise mitigation, mapping or assessment.
