ADLINK Technology at productronica 2013
ADLINK Technology has today announced its attendance of productronic 2013. Products highlighted at the show will include the PXIe-9529 high density dynamic signal aqcuisition module for sound and vibration testing, the USB-2405 four-channel 24-bit dynamic signal acquisition module and the PCIe-9852 two-channel 200 MS/s 14-bit PCI Express digitizer.
PXIe-9529, newest high-density dynamic signal acquisition module for sound and vibration testing
We are showcasingthe PXIe-9529, featuring up to eight 24-bit analog input channels simultaneously sampling at 192 kS/s and a 108 dB dynamic range to provide ample power for high density, high channel count signal measurement. The PXIe-9529 features a vibration-optimized lower AC cutoff frequency of 0.3 Hz, and all input channels incorporate 4 mA bias current for integrated electronic piezoelectric signal conditioning for accelerometers and microphones, positioning the module for machine condition monitoring, NVH, and phased array data acquisition applications.
Our PXIe-9529’s 8-channel design provides easy expansion up to 136 channels in a single 18-slot PXI Express chassis while still maintaining tight timing and synchronization between channels, presenting a cost-optimized solution for high channel count applications like phased array data acquisition.
When performing high channel count data acquisition, the PXIe-9529’s built-in phase-locked loop allows multiple modules to lock to an external reference-timing signal, such as PXI_CLK10 or PXIe_CLK100 from the PXI chassis backplane, such that each module can perform measurements simultaneously. In addition, the PXI star trigger ensures synchronization between modules with less than 1 ns of skew, allowing 0.01 deg phase system mismatch for a 1 kHz signal between any two channels across devices, with the subsequent variety of implementation enabling simultaneous precision multi-channel sampling.
Four-channel 24-bit USB-2405 dynamic signal acquisition module
A new four-channel USB 2.0 dynamic signal acquisition module, the USB-2405. A built-in IEPE excitation current source provides 2mA on each AI channel, and BNC connectors enable the USB-2405 to provide high accuracy and excellent dynamic performance for microphone and accelerometer measurement in vibration and acoustic applications. Featuring superior accuracy with low temperature drift, built-in anti-aliasing filters, support flexible trigger mode, and USB bus power, the USB-2405 embodies an ideal portable solution for time-frequency analysis and research.
The ADLINK USB-2405 supports four analog input channels simultaneously sampling up to 128kS/s, and delivers 100 dB dynamic range and -94 dB THD of dynamic performance. Built-in anti-aliasing filters enable filter cutoff frequency to be automatically adjusted to the sampling rate, suppressing out-of-band noise and avoiding measurement distortion.
The USB-2405 also supports auto-calibration for ensured accuracy, and minimizes temperature drift in the field with maximum gain drift of 11ppm/°C, an impressive 50% of the maximum available market performance. The USB-2405’s low DC measurement drift, along with temperature deviation, optimize accuracy in spite of the environment.
Two-channel 200 MS/s 14-bit PCI Express digitizer
The new high-speed PCI Express digitizer, the PCIe-9852, features two simultaneously sampled 200 MS/s input channels with 14-bit resolution, 90 MHz bandwidth, and up to 1 GB DDR3 onboard memory. Highly accurate measurement, up to 800 MB/s data streaming, and onboard signal averaging technology, combine to make the PCIe-9852 ideal for long-term high-speed data recording applications such as distributed temperature sensing, radar signal testing, and atmospheric science research.
ADLINK’s PCIe-9852 benefits Distributed Temperature Sensing applications, by enabling significantly increased accuracy in temperature measurement. The PCIe-9852’s two analog inputs simultaneously receive both Stokes and anti-Stokes lines generated in the application, and increased high resolution sampling rates meeting requirements for sensing distances of 30 km and more. In addition, onboard signal averaging technology isolates even minor detected data from crowded environments.
The PCIe-9852 provides 14-bit high resolution ADC and up to 200 MS/s sampling, delivering 83 dB SFDR, 62 dB SNR and -81 dB THD, leading the field in high dynamic performance. The PCIe-9852 provides a flexible set of input ranges ±0.2V, ±2V, or ±10V, software selectable 50Ω or 1MΩ input impedance, and a wide variety of triggering options and tight synchronization capability, all maximizing convenience of use.
