AEG Power Solutions will be showing its latest UPS and industrial chargers at the ADIPEC event (stand 8530E) in Abu Dhabi, on the 9th to 12th November 2015. At the event, AEG PS will display its full industrial range of solutions which meet the most stringent international standards to guarantee power supply to mission-critical applications in the up, mid and downstream segments of the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industry.

AEG PS will be displaying its Protect 8 UPS system, which is designed to ensure the continuous availability of power and safe operations for all types of critical applications in the harshest environments. Protect 8 is adapted to be rugged and to cope with extremes in temperature and humidity, as well as dust and sand.

Available in single phase and three phase options (8.31 and 8.33), Protect 8 is designed with a modular ‘building block’ approach, which allows customers to specify the right product for their particular requirements. Factors that can be customised include ingress protection degrees, input and output voltages, batteries and autonomy times.

Protect 8 delivers extremely high electrical and mechanical robustness, high reliability and a small footprint. It is available from AEG PS with a guaranteed short lead time.

“AEG PS understands the needs of customers in the oil and gas business, and we have the right solutions to protect critical equipment,” says John Lynch, Regional Director – Middle East, AEG Power Solutions.

At ADIPEC, AEG PS will also be showing its Protect RCS series of robust industrial rectifiers, chargers and DC systems, which use proven microprocessor-controlled thyristor technology to provide highly reliable power supply and battery charging capabilities. Protect RCS comes in a standard model or can be easily customised.
