PhD Funding Fair: Sciences and Engineering in focus

The PhD Funding Fair 2015 takes place on Tuesday 1st December in central London and applications to attend it will be open until the midnight on Sunday 29th November. The Fair will consist of:

• Talks Programme, in which students are invited to communicate with participating universities, among which are the University of Bath, Cardiff University, the University of Edinburgh, Imperial College London, the University of Leeds, and University College London;
• Peer to Peer Advice Room, in which the students will be able to talk with current PhD students;
• and, finally, Specialist Subject Sessions, of which the afternoon will be dedicated exclusively to the PhD funding across the range of Science and Engineering subjects.

In order to attend the Fair, you will have to apply, bearing in mind the specific criteria required:

• To apply to attend, you must either have, or expect to achieve:

- a 1st or a 2:1 in your undergraduate degree
- OR a Merit or Distinction in your Masters degree
- OR equivalent to either of the above from an international university

• You will also need to upload a copy (photo or scan of ONE of the following:  

- your degree certificate if you have already completed your undergraduate degree or your masters
- OR if you are currently studying, a transcript from your University clearly showing that your marks to date demonstrate you are likely to achieve the required standard
- OR if you are currently studying, we'll also accept a signed letter on your University's headed paper from your course director or department administrator indicating that you are expected to achieve the required standard. Any such letter much be signed by the person the letter is from and give their full contact details.
