PCIM Europe 2015: Analysis confirms quality of visitors

The analysis of the exhibitor and visitor survey of PCIM Europe 2015 again confirms the high quality of the event, as well as its significance for the power electronics industry. The continuing growth of the event highly contributed to the great satisfaction of exhibitors and visitors.

On the three exhibition days, a total of 8,976 visitors (37% of them came from abroad) took the opportunity to inform themselves about the latest trends and developments in the field of power electronics. Due to the clear focus of PCIM Europe and the comprehensive presence of exhibitors from the various fields of power electronics, 95% of the visitors were able to fulfill their personal task for the exhibition.

Main reasons to visit PCIM Europe were to track down new products and trends, get a general market overview, exchange experiences and knowledge or to establish and maintain business contacts. The recommendation rate also reflects the satisfaction of the visitors. Thus, 95% of the visitors would recommend PCIM Europe to their clients and colleagues, whereas 97% plan to come back for PCIM Europe 2016.

The exhibitors of PCIM Europe especially appreciated the high quality of visitors. 76% rated PCIM Europe 2015 as the suitable platform to maintain existing customer relationships, establish new contacts and strengthen the market position. Around 60% of visitors were mainly experts coming from the following functional fields: employees in senior management positions, managing directors or development engineers. Therefore the quality of visitors, as well as the number of valuable contacts were rated as good to very good by the exhibitors and investment decisions are initiated directly at the exhibition.

With 258 presentations from internationally recognized experts, the conference of PCIM Europe 2015 could satisfy its reputation as the leading knowledge forum of the industry. 91% of the 739 attendees (55% of them came from abroad) also visited the exhibition, which proves the success of exhibition and international conference taking place in parallel. By now, already 82% of the attendees plan to come back for PCIM Europe conference 2016.
