PCIM Asia 2016 Conference programme now available

The main areas of focus of the diverse conference programme are the technological trends and developments in power electronic components and systems, as well as the specific requirements for the Asiatic and Chinese market. There will be particular emphasis on solutions for the growing need for power electronics and the opportunities for renewable energy and electromobility.

Highlights of the conference include both keynote presentations by Dr. Dan Kinzer of Navitas Semiconductor, USA on 'Driving for Zero Switching Loss Power Solutions' and Dr. Xingyi Xu of Dajuntech, China on 'Automotive Power Electronics Development for New Energy Vehicles'. Other highlights are an industry session on 'High Frequency Power Conversion' and two seminars on 'Designing Drives for Automation Systems' delivered by Professor Jose Mario Pacas of Siegen University, Germany and 'Fundamentals of Power in the Data Centre' by Brian Zahnstecher of PowerRox, USA. In addition, six oral sessions and two poster sessions will provide an excellent overview of the developments and trends in the field of semiconductors and their applications. The conference language is English.

At the international PCIM Asia exhibition,running parallel to the conference, the visitors will find targeted information on semi-conductors, components, sensors, energy management systems and simulation and development software. In addition, numerous global players from the branch will be showcasing all about their latest power electronics developments and innovations.
