Obsolescence management event to take place in Edinburgh
The Component Obsolescence Group (COG) is to become the International Institute of Obsolescence Management in early 2015, and is pleased to announce that the first International Institute of Obsolescence Management Conference & Exhibition will take place in Edinburgh, from 16th to 18th June 2015.
When it comes to inspirational cities, few can rival Edinburgh. The blend of UNESCO World Heritage architecture, world-class hotels, venues and entertainment and excellent transport links make Edinburgh a breathtaking city in which to have a conference. A compact city centre with almost everything within walking distance, it's easy to see why Edinburgh has earned its place as the world's most popular UK conference city after London.
The main conference will be held in the Assembly Rooms, a unique venue in the heart of Edinburgh’s new town offering unrivalled service and impressive, versatile spaces. The exhibition space and conference venue are right next to each other which will allow maximum value for any branding and exhibition opportunities.
For those who work in the military supply chain, medical, oil & gas, automotive, rail, energy generation or space industries, managing obsolescence is vital. This conference will be the first to showcase the IIOM and to position the institute as the primary organisation to represent Obsolescence Management Practitioners worldwide.
