Element Materials Technology (Element) is hosting its annual Radio product compliance seminar at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, on 10 November. The seminar is a free, one-day event that will deliver the latest information on major changes to radio testing, certification, and EU and US approvals, with a focus on the new Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and the changes to RED 2014/53/EU.

As compliance becomes more complex and associated costs rise, it is essential that designers, manufacturers and suppliers have the latest information to make informed decisions and avoid costly mistakes during the design and production phases.

During the seminar, Element’s Engaged Experts will share their best practice for making compliance programs cost and time-effective.

The training sessions will use examples of radio and wireless devices to explore international routes to certification and global approvals, which are needed to successfully manage the compliance and qualification of new product developments or new territory launches.

The event starts at 9:00 a.m. and concludes with a free private tour of the Imperial War Museum at 3:00 p.m., allowing delegates to see some of the most famous aircraft in the world up close, including the Concorde, Lancaster, Spitfire, and Vulcan.

Advance registration is required as spaces are limited.
