National Instruments is inviting engineers and scientists to improve their graphical programming skills by attendingLabVIEW Developer Days. These are free, one day professional development events held in 12 locations throughout Northern Europe. As well as providing in-depth technical presentations and valuable programming tips for new and experienced users, LabVIEW Developer Days also gives attendees the opportunity to network with fellow programmers.

The Keynote presentation at the start of each LabVIEW Developer Day, entitled “You and NI Will Prepare for the Future” demonstrates how NI’s technology is used toaddress the engineering challenges of today, as well as those yet to come.

By choosing from two tracks, depending on experience, attendees tailor the day to suit their individual needs. The Intermediate track is created for programmers who are new to LabVIEW, offering guidance on how to personalise the environment to accelerate productivity, together with best practices for code packaging.

Alternatively, more experienced users will choose the Advanced track, featuring topics such as data communication for scalable systems and how to improve code quality through automated code analysis.

Attendees at each of the 12 events can take the career-enhancing NI Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer exam, the first step in the three-part LabVIEW certification process, for free.

There is also the option to take advantage of a technical preparation session for the next level of professional proficiency, the Certified LabVIEW Developer qualification. In addition, every attendee will receive a voucher for 50% discount towards any NI training course in 2015.

The schedule is: April 14 – Newbury; April 15 – Cambridge; April 21 – Netherlands; April 23 – Belgium; April 28 – Edinburgh; April 30 – Birmingham; May 5 – Finland; May 12 – Belfast; May 14 – Dublin; May 19- Sweden; May 21 – Norway. To book a place go to www.ni.com.
