Multi-layer flexible insulation on show at CWIEME Shanghai
Synflex will use CWIEME Shanghai to launch its SYNtherm multi-layer flexible insulation range, designed to meet the price, application and delivery requirements of the Asian market.
From 23rd to 25th June, Synflex will join hundreds of other suppliers from around the world at CWIEME Shanghai, Asia’s leading trade show, conference and networking event for the coil winding and electro-magnetic communities. The star of Synflex’s stand will be its SYNtherm multi-layer flexible insulation, available in various strengths and widths according to customers’ individual requirements. This insulation can be sheeted immediately or used as a base product for Synflex’s stampings and blanks.
From its facilities in Europe, Turkey and China, Synflex supplies almost every component required to manufacture an electric motor, generator or transformer, from enameled copper wires and aluminium wires, to electrical adhesive tapes, impregnating agents and insulation materials.
“SYNtherm multi-layer flexible insulation, which uses a new kind of laminate, is not only physically flexible but also in its use for a wide variety of electric motor and transformer products,” says Michael Thiel, Marketing Director, Synflex. “And because we manufacture it ourselves, we are better able to meet customers’ needs at the right speed, specification and price, integrated within our UL system network. There’s no cutting to fit, the customer pays only for what they need.”
“The Asian market is very open at the moment for smart solutions that combine growing quality consciousness with fair financial parameters. That’s why we chose the Asian market for the launch of this project, and CWIEME Shanghai for the platform,” comments Thiel.
“CWIEME is the one and only platform within our industry. All our potential customers are there and we are able to speak with many of them in a short space of time. What’s more, the purchasers and the engineers often come together, which enables us to focus our conversations on the many technical benefits of our products,” says Thiel.
“We wanted to join the Shanghai show because it attracts many visitors from Japan, Korea and Thailand, as well as China. These are all very big markets for us, and as a one-stop-shop supplier we are well-placed to make an impact,” adds Thiel.
