Moxa to showcase portfolio at ees Europe
Moxa will showcase its IEC 62443-4-2 and IEC 61850 certified portfolio at ees Europe 2025 (running from 7-9 May 2025 in Munich) in the Innovation Hub, which includes industrial switches, secure routers, industrial PCs (x86 and ARM) and network management software.
This portfolio includes industrial switches, secure routers, industrial PCs (x86 and ARM), and network management software. Moxa offers all the components needed to allow for scalable and secure communication between battery containers, power conversion systems (PCS), energy management systems (EMS), and grid-connected substations in battery energy storage systems. This ensures reliable monitoring and control of energy flows for maximum profitability, reliability, and cybersecurity.
A highlight at the company's stand is the cyber-secure switch portfolio for DIN-rail and rackmount mounting. The IEC 62443-4-2 certified EDS-4000/G4000 and RKS-G4000 series facilitate the construction of Gigabit network architectures from Edge to core, which can be easily certified to security level 2 in accordance with IEC 62443-3-3.
Moxa’s network management software, MXview One, supports the NIS2 requirements for critical infrastructures by visually displaying the network components' security status and firmware versions. The same tool visualises the status of redundancy protocols Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain, and PRP/HSR to respond promptly to network communication failures. With Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain, Moxa enables complex, redundant, and cost-effective network architectures with very short network recovery times – essential for grid-connected battery storage systems that require rapid responses.
Moxa's network segmentation is enabled by the IEC 62443-4-2 certified Next Generation Firewall EDR-G9010, which complies with the latest cybersecurity regulations thanks to its signature-based IPS/IDS module and deep packet inspection functionality.
Additionally, a selection from Moxa's fanless, IEC 61850-3 certified x86 computing portfolio will be shown.
