This year's CWIEME Berlin proved successful, with more than 6,500 buyers, designers, engineers and academics in attendance. The event held from 24-26th June, was organiser i2i Events Group’s busiest CWIEME show to date. The show, spread across six halls at the Berlin Messe exhibition grounds in Germany, featured some 750 suppliers from over 40 countries, including Aumann, DuPont, Hopf, Trancerie Emiliane and ThyssenKrupp.

The show, in which 31% more design engineers attended, included seminars, presentations and discussions, as well as the CWIEME Leaders' Forum, a networking event the evening before CWIEME Berlin.

Visitor Edward Mantey, Product Development Engineer Consultant, Numerical Solutions, commented: “The best thing about this show is the variety – the wide-spectrum of products involved in the motor industry, transformers and electrical industry at large. Some unique and obscure technologies on display here. I would say that there’s nothing like it at any other show I’ve seen.”

Haf Cennydd, Portfolio Director for the CWIEME exhibition series said: “Overall, it was a very successful show, characterised by the quality and variety on display. As a result, over 70% of exhibitors have already booked their stands for next year – some even increasing the size of their booths to meet demand. We will build on this momentum and further enhance our content programme to welcome more visitors and exhibitors in 2015.”

The 2015 dates for CWIEME Berlin are 5-7th May 2015.
